Our Environmental Policy.
KleanDrive was founded to have a positive impact on the environment and society. Our mission is to accelerate the transition to zero emission vehicles for the health of our planet and all its inhabitants. As such, our environmental policy is central to our development and operations as well as our wider impact through our suppliers and customers. Our core environmental values are to improve air quality, combat climate change, protect natural resources and support sustainable development.
This Environmental Policy is one element of our developing Environmental, Social and Governance framework.
We are committed to protection of the environment and have established an environmental management system which meets the requirements of ISO 14001. As our business grows, we will strive to continuously improve our environmental performance.
We will fulfil our compliance obligations and develop our own ambitious environmental objectives and targets against which we will monitor our progress. We shall use key performance indicators to ensure our environmental policy is being systematically implemented throughout our operations.
Our Environmental Policy will encompass all areas of our operations and relationships, including, but not restricted to, the full lifecycle impacts of our:
- Product & services
- Transport
- Waste and packaging
- Water and energy consumption
- Raw materials and chemicals used on our processes
- Emissions and noise
KleanDrive’s commitment to protecting and improving our environment reaches beyond operations in our leased office space. Employees working remotely are expected to demonstrate the same commitment to minimising full life cycle impacts within their homes and through their working practice.
We will undertake environmental benchmarking against similar business to ensure we remain at the forefront in our industry. When developing relationships with partners, suppliers and customers we will ensure they are aware of our environmental commitments and seek to engage with other parties with the same values as ourselves.
Management has ultimate responsibility for environmental issues, but we will ensure that all employees understand their responsibilities within their own area of work to ensure they are embedded within the whole organisation.
